Tina Longe, 102, a life-long resident of Johnstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at The Pines of Glens Falls, where she resided following a decline in her health. She previously resided at 113 Mason Street, Johnstown.

Mrs. Longe was born on March 13, 1910 in the family home in Johnstown. Tina was the daughter of the late Joseph Taddune and Carmella LoGudice Taddune. In 1937, she married Patrick Longe as she continued her work as a seamstress for local manufacturers, including Conroy Gloves. She enjoyed cooking and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Tina is survived by her son Patrick (Donna) Longe of Glens Falls, as well as grandchildren Fr. Neal (Lisa) Longe of Colonie, Jessica (Brian) Baker of Baltimore, Maryland, Edward (Tina) Bartholomew of Wilton, Katherine (Kevin) Driscoll of Glens Falls and great grandchildren Maria and Noah Longe, Siyanna and Madyn Baker, Naomi and Joshua Bartholomew, and Kellen and Trevor Driscoll. Tina is also survived by her loving niece Sandra (Joe) Winter of Niskayuna and nephews Paul (Connie) Taddune of Aspen, Colorado and Joseph (Maureen) Taddune of Hopewell Junction, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Tina was predeceased by her husband Patrick in 1961; her brothers Paul, Kenneth and Joseph and her sister Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 4th at St. Ann's Episcopal Church, 37 Division Street, Amsterdam with her grandson Fr. Neal Longe officiating.

Friends and family may call on Tina's family from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 3rd at the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home, 1 N. Melcher Street, Johnstown.

Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to St. Ann's Episcopal Church.

Tina's family would like to thank the staff of The Pines for their loving care and kindness to her in her final years.

It must have been a few months back when I ran into Neal, at my former work place, and he informed me how old she was!!! God bless her 102!!!!!
