Ronald G. Sleezer, age 77, of Johnstown, passed away on Tuesday,
January 15, 2013 at Nathan Littauer Hosptal, Gloversville after a
brief illness.
He was born on March 7, 1935, a son of the late Cecil James
Sleezer and Ester Conover Sleezer.
He was a 1953 graduate of Johnstown High School, and honorably
served his country in the U.S. Army.
Ronald was employed as a leather worker and was employed with
several local tanneries until his retirement.
He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Sleezer; two sons Donald
(Denise) Sleezer of Whitesboro and Daniel (Celia) Sleezer of
Gloversville; three grandchildren Brandon, Lauren and Trevor
Sleezer; one great granddaughter Lauryn Shoemaker; two brothers
Richard (Kathe) Sleezer of Wanaque, New Jersey and Larry (Marge)
Sleezer of Johnstown; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings Robert, Ralph, James Sleezer,
Dorothy Elmendorf and Carol Morris.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, January 19th
at 10:30 a.m. at the Fern Dale Cemetery, Johnstown.
In keeping with Mr. Sleezer's wishes, there will be no calling
hours.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his
memory to an Animal Shelter of your choice.

Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown.
